DO Business Services Limited Modern Slavery Statement
DO Business Services is committed to delivering the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity when dealing with its customers, partners and suppliers. This extends to measures that address Modern Slavery and these standards are labelled below.
- DO Business Services operates a zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking and any other form of prejudicial behaviour to others we engage with.
- This statement is made in relation to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes DO Business Services’ slavery and human trafficking statement for the current year. DO Business Services expects all those in our supply chain to comply with our values and to have suitable anti-slavery and human trafficking policies and processes.
- DO Business Services is committed to acting with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains, partners or customers.
- This policy applies to all employees and managers of DO Business Services and extends to any organisation or individual that DO Business Services conducts business with. As such, DO Business Services:
- Carries out business with various companies worldwide and considers the nature of the business we carry out to be low risk in relation to modern slavery.
- Understands and is committed to making sure that there is no modern slavery within our own business or in any aspect of our supply chain.
- Specific measures that uphold this policy include (but are not limited to):
- Right to work in the UK – documentation is obtained and checked for each job applicant.
- Supplier auditing – each new supplier must provide a valid Modern Slavery statement as part of the sign-up process.
- Responsibilities
- The board of directors are accountable for making sure the company is acting with due diligence and will ensure any risk assessments are carried out prior to engaging with suppliers, partners and customers.
- The Senior Managers of DO Business Services are responsible for supply chain verification for existing and future suppliers in relation to the Modern Slavery Act.
- Should any party, employed by DO Business Services or not, have reasonable suspicion or evidence that DO Business Services is working with or assisting Modern Slavery or not complying with both the spirit and the letter of the above statement, they should contact us immediately so we can undertake a full investigation and take any restorative action as appropriate.
